Are you currently undertaking research or study related to child sexual abuse?
We’re inviting students at all levels to join us for a friendly and participative one-day workshop at London Metropolitan University on Tuesday, 19th May 2026.
The workshop is a unique opportunity for student and practitioner researchers at any stage of their research journey – based in academic schools or working in practice – to take part in informal and supportive discussions about their work. Most importantly – it offers participants the chance to become part of a support network of researchers engaged in similar work.

Celebrating its 10-year anniversary, the CSA Centre’s researcher workshop is a unique opportunity for students across disciplines and specialities to meet, and share early results, thoughts or concerns about concepts, research design, methods, ethics – whatever it would be useful to consider with the help of peers and experts.
What past participants tell us
The CSA Centre’s student workshop is popular with students across a wide range of research disciplines, including social work, education, health, policing, criminology, psychology and more.
Past participants have told us they felt the workshop was a safe and encouraging environment to speak about the difficult subject of child sexual abuse and help progress their studies.
Fantastic! It was inspiring and uplifting to meet people who work in the same area and are on the same journey.
