Child sexual abuse is complex. Many different professionals play a role in preventing, identifying, and responding to child sexual abuse, and supporting children following abuse, but there is a pressing need for dedicated training and support for professionals across all agencies.
The CSA Centre has built a reputation for delivering successful training, specifically on child sexual abuse, both online and in-person. All of our courses are delivered by trainers with significant experience working with child sexual abuse across different agencies, and our training content is regularly reviewed to ensure that learners have access to the latest developments in research and practice. Our training format includes a series of presentations, supported by visual resources and slides, as well as more interactive discussions, reflections and exercises.
Wherever possible, our training is tailored to be relevant to the local area of that service or organisation, including localised information about the scale of child sexual abuse in your area and supporting analysis and comparisons to national data, to provide a contextualised understanding of child sexual abuse and how it may impact your team.
Training courses range from half-day sessions, to a more extensive ten-days (spread over up to 10 months), with prices starting from £480 (plus VAT) per session.
The majority of our training is currently being delivered virtually via Microsoft Teams or Zoom, but we can adapt to suit your organisation’s preference.
