Improving the response to child sexual abuse in London: Learning from a pilot programme led by the Centre of expertise on child sexual abuse and the London Safeguarding Children Partnership
In 2021, the CSA Centre was commissioned by the London Safeguarding Children Partnership (LSCP) to design and deliver a holistic package of support to improve the identification and response to child sexual abuse in three London boroughs: Barking & Dagenham, Ealing, and Hackney. This report details the results and feedback from participants.

Improving the response to child sexual abuse in policing: Learning from a pilot of child sexual abuse training for frontline police officers and those in specialist child protection roles
In 2022, the CSA Centre piloted two training courses for police officers and staff to supplement existing training provision in police forces and address knowledge gaps around identifying and responding to child sexual abuse. This report details the results of the pilot and participant feedback.

This resource is designed to guide professionals' thinking in supporting children of any age, including those with special education needs, following incidents of harmful sexual behaviour. It is for all professionals in schools or other places of learning for children, including pupil referral units and special schools; it is not just for Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs). Designed to be used along side the CSA Centre's school safety plan template.
