Sadly, child sexual abuse is a very common form of harm. It is estimated that one in six children experience some form of sexual abuse before the age of 18 in England and Wales. To identify, respond to and prevent it, we need to have a good understanding of the essential facts about child sexual abuse.

About our introductory webinars 

This introductory webinar series is designed to help professionals working with children and families to build confidence using our practice resources to identify and respond to child sexual abuse.  

This session will be led by one of our Practice Improvement Advisers from the team who published this resource. Our advisers have significant experience working with children and families, delivering training, and working within multi-agency safeguarding arrangements.
