Louise is a qualified and practicing counsellor specialising in work with children and families affected by child sexual abuse, harmful sexual behaviour and other childhood harms. Her experience spans therapeutic practice, service development, and strategic leadership, supporting the development of effective responses and therapeutic pathways for children and families.

Having worked for Barnardo’s as a children’s counsellor specialising in child sexual abuse, she brings both frontline and leadership experience across counselling and harmful sexual behaviour services. She has led service development and system change initiatives, working with service users, stakeholders, and commissioners to improve access to support and develop equitable and accessible therapeutic services for children and families.
